It's a pirate's life for you at Schooner Wharf Bar, Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. for the annual Pirates Ball and Pig Roast.

The swashbuckling, sword fighting band of Beauvoir Buccaneers is making landfall at Schooner Wharf to pillage and plunder their way through a dynamic performance of songs, swordplay and sarcasm.

The rogues will swagger through the rum-guzzling crowd, entertaining with sea chanties and looking for loot.

The crowds can join the quest for treasure by entering the Pirates Costume Contest, categories are: Best Wench, Best Buccaneer, Best Bustier, and Cut Throat Surprise. Prizes include Goodie Bags from Conch Republic Rum, Schooner Wharf Bar & Galley Tabs, Gift Certificates from Consigning Adults, and Sailing Trips aboard Schooner America and Western Union.

You can also learn basic piratical swordplay from Captain Maggie or get your picture taken with the troupe.

Dance to reggae style of Hot Like Fire while the cooks in the galley handle the succulent roasted pig and the bartenders handle the buckets of rum at the headquarters for the Conch Republic Independence Celebration.
