Parrot Heads are
familiar with the Jimmy Buffett song that tells listeners that
there is no plane on Sunday.so spend your Sunday sipping
tropical cocktails, while enjoying your own Cheeseburger in
Paradise, on the waterfront at Schooner Wharf Bar!
Find that lost shaker of salt, squeeze a lime into a margarita or
Landshark beer, and enjoy the minds you meet, November 6th, from
7-midnight at Schooner Wharf.
The Schooner Wharf No Plane on Sunday Party features the
island songs of the seven-piece Big Bamboo Band, who mix a
whimsical island sound with a splash of Texas to produce a sound
thats uniquely Gulf and Western. They will also be performing on
Friday, November 4th from 7 pm to midnight with a tribute to
singer, songwriter and former front man and driving force of the
band, Jim Morris, who sadly passed away this summer.
Hailing from Long Island, New York to make their Schooner Wharf
debut are the seven piece Johnny Russler and the Beach Bums on
Saturday, November 5th from 7 pm - midnight. They combine the
tropical sounds of Caribbean rock, reggae, country and original
music. From steel pans to strong percussion, to driving bass and
skanking guitars, the Beach Bum Band has a fun and danceable sound
that appeals to all.
Down to the Banana Republics, down to the tropical sun, go the
expatriated Americans hoping to find some fun. Youll always find
it at Schooner Wharf!
