Hola Amigos! It�s Fiesta Time! Schooner Wharf�s 23rd Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration
Thursday, May 5th.
 

For a �caliente� night, join in the Hot Taco Eating Contest -- a timed competition to see who can eat three Schooner Wharf Tacos, down a shot of Familia Camarena Tequila, eat a hot jalape�o, and finish an icy cold Corona in the least amount of time.

D.J. Se�or Bill Hoebee will offer color commentary of the contest during a live remote broadcast on SUN 99.5.

You can win a prize for the best Mexican hat while sipping margaritas and listening to hot Latino music.

Cayo Ritmo featuring Cuban singer/songwriter Lilliana Balance will take the stage 7 pm till midnight. The Band plays island dance rhythms of the Caribbean, such as: Reggae, Calypso, Soca, Cha-Cha, Reggae-ton, as well as American dance rhythms: rock, R&B, funk and soul. Cayo Ritmo plays high-energy dance sets that are sure to get bodies moving, shaking and winding. The band is usually presented as a rock quartet with drums, bass and electric guitar and featuring steel pan. Fun elements include the improvisational inter-play between the steel pan and guitar, and Latin percussion jam sections. Definitely bring your dancing shoes.
