2007 Minimal Regatta Winners

  A creative and enthusiastic fleet of 32 vessels entered the 16th Annual Schooner Wharf Bar Minimal Regatta...........Minimal Vessels were crafted with minimal materials--- plywood, duct tape and a pound of fasteners. Boats took months or just hours to build, and just a few hours to prove their design.

Proceeds from the entry fee benefit our military, in honor of the men and women who protect and serve, past and present.

Thousands of spectators lined the Key West Bight to view the zaniest regatta they�ll ever see, for a truly memorable Memorial Day.

The competition was tough and colorful, not only for the fastest, but also the most creative, the best paint job, a sinker award and sportsmanship.
