Last year we featured fine
artists Susan Thomas, Kate Peachy, Laura Black, Rick Burnett, Thomas
Avery, Debby Peterson and newcomer, Carol Heath, along with others. Many
returning artists displayed new facets of their creative spirit by
introducing works in a different media. Some of the cross over art
included painted furniture by glass painter Gale Upmal, and carved wampum
objects de art by Marica Portier whose wampum shell jewelry is always a
hit. |
Adding whimsy to last years affair were Coco Franciose who features functional plant containers, Patty Swartz with her
colorful bouy collection and coconut critters and Larrys sand dollar
magnets. Pet fashions by Susan Schaal brightens our animal friends style
as they prance off with colorful collars and hats.
One of a kind jewelry was available and included affordable pieces made from sea glass
to bronze and everything in between. Tom Taylor offered his one of a kind
wire wrapped high grade gemstone jewelry. Joyce Straiton demonstrated the
art of creating hand made glass beads and then fashions them into
beautiful jewelry. Suzanne Buxton worked in silver, and Sara Russel returned
with her designs. |
Fabric art and items for the
house and home were offered by Joanne Jarzombeck. Fabric art clothes and
accessories were offered by weaver Clair Perrault. The fun and friendly Peggy Taylor
had glass dancers. Sharonas hand painted KW shirts are always popular and Daisy Cake Soaps
were a bathing indulgence perfected
Internationally renowned potter Jay Gogin, the original Hairy Potter
demonstrated his remarkable pottery skills along with students
