Halloween Half Marathon & 5K Run

The new destination in our Halloween Half Marathon Series!!

Vampires, werewolves, goblins, witches, and other fearsome Halloween creatures can show their �powers� on Key West�s picturesque streets during a pre-holiday athletic challenge. The annual race is for those haunted by the need to prove their stamina and speed.

Many participants wear costumes ranging from eerie to exotic as they travel the flat, fast course through Key West�s Old Town and scenic waterfront areas.

Participants can pick up their race packets at Schooner Wharf Bar�s sail loft from noon until 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15th, or 5:00-6:15 a.m. on Sunday. The day will include a fun post-race party beer, food, raffles, and music by Island Time Duo � steel drums, guitar and lots of tropical tunes � followed by troubadour Michael McCloud and Friends from noon until 5 p.m. Bloody-thirsty runners will be �treated� to a Three Olives Vodka Bloody Mary at the special price of $7.00 (regularly $8.50). Also, anyone buying a Schooner Wharf T-shirt, Tank Top or Hat will receive a free can coolie and sticker!
