The rain subsided and the waters
of Key West Harbor were filled with a dazzling display of lights, creativity and
magic, for the 16th Annual Schooner Wharf Bar/Captain Morgan Rum Lighted Boat
Parade. Entries ranged from 19� to 125� vessels, each one putting on a great
show, thank you, mariners!!!

They are �fun�-tastic & �Sun�-Sational Creatures. This is the first appearance
for Island time in our parade. They are heading of for Mexico in a few weeks,
and are looking forward to the trip with Neptune�s blessing.

Torez-Power Lobster/Stone Crab Working Boat
Theme: Santa �Stone Crab Claws� in Paradise. The Stafford family are long time
veterans of the parade having started their holiday tradition since 1993. The
Staffords have been lobster and stone crab trappers for 30 years.
They Placed 5th in the 2005 parade.

Monique. Island Time is a frequent entry in our SWB/CM lighted boat parade and
placed 9th in 2005.

Theme: Traditional Christmas
The Wickers fishing tradition started in the 1930�s under the Roosevelt
Administration, when the city of Key West was bankrupt and their vessels were
docked by the Coast Guard Station.
All the vessels in their fishing Grandson Billy Wickers started his sportfishing
business in 1969 and still offers his unique local knowledge & skill for
charter. The fleet is named after Billys Wickers wife, Linda.
The fleet now has two 40� sport fishing war wagons The Linda D 4 and the Linda D
5 captained by the next generations of Wicker fishermen Captain Billy and his
son Captain Bill for those of you who want to go �catching.� Hook Up with them
at the Garrison Bight Charter Boat Row.

Theme: There is no place like home!
The Compass Rose just returned home to Key West Bight and Schooner Wharf after a
6 month voyage north, and are happy to back in their home port. They wish
everyone a special and peaceful holiday season. The Compass Rose placed 2nd in
2005, and have been a crowd favorite for many of our SWB/CM Lighted Boat
Parades.

Our favorite Elvis Bobby J as Elvis � The Red White & Blue lights on Fish Pain
represent the flag of liberty.
Wonderful and fun patriotic tribute to our troops. The
red, white and blue lights looked awesome. And it was great to have an Elvis
sighting at the SWB/CM Lighted Boat Parade.

Veteran Captain Lenn has commanded local tall ships Schooner Wolf and Schooner
Western Union to victory in past Lighted Boat Parades. Under his leadership
Western Union took first place honors last year. His motto �the floggings will
continue until the moral improves.�

Renee was the First Place Winner in 1999 and is the last member of the
�Knock Down Yacht Club� Captain Renee would like us to remember our soldiers
fighting for us overseas during our holiday celebrations.
The White Christmas Tree was spectacular, we especially
liked the star of Bethlehem. Renee is an employee of West Marine, one of our
generous prize sponsors of the SWB/Captain Morgan Lighted Boat Parade.

The Liberty crew thought that sometimes simple is beautiful. They discovered
�simple� ideas turn out to be the most complicated. The Clipper has outlined her
Schooner sail plan using nearly 1000� of light. More Captain Morgan Rum Punch
For All!!! This is the Liberty Clipper�s second appearance in the parade, they
came in 7th with a Pirates, Wenches & Grinches. The Liberty Clipper offers day,
dinner, and star gazer sails and are also docked right here at Schooner Wharf.
The Navigational Rigging of a Red & Green Christimas
Tree looked awesome. The dolphins on the bow were a hit with everyone. And the
wreath on top of the vessel looked beautiful

The Mangrove Mistress is an Eco Tour boat from Cudjoe Key, a great opportunity
for locals and visitors to see the back country of the Gulf and the
blue water of the unpopulated waters only an experienced guide can show you.
Knowing Captain Andy, the only thing better than the ocean experience is the
hospitality and knowledge of your captain.
