LIGHTED BOAT PARADE RESULTS

The much anticipated Schooner Wharf Bar/Captain Morgan Rum Lighted Boat Parade took place on Saturday, December 13th. There was a fleet of 29 vessels ranging from a 16� solar power vessel to a 125� Schooner that dazzled the community with their creativity and originality.

The 25� M/V Miss Quin Key with Captain Del and Marge Asburn were the judges choice for First Place. The Ashurn�s �Going Green� design had multicolored lights spinning and twirling that switched to green in front of Schooner Wharf and spun and twirled some more --- to everyone�s delight.

Second Place was captured by Mike and Peggy Bankester on the S/V Independence.

Finishing Third was the Grinch for Peace on The Schooner Western Union who stole all our hearts!
