MINIMAL REGATTA MAKES A SPLASH!
The heat was on for 21 teams and crews during the 25th Annual Schooner Wharf
Bar Minimal Regatta on Sunday. A favorite holiday event for locals and
visitors, the silver anniversary Regatta drew tons of spectators to watch the
test of our local shipwrights � the sea trial saw sinkers, floaters, themed
boats with presidential candidates, state troopers, and of course, resident
pirates and wildlife, among many creative vessels. Entry fees benefitted the
Veterans Relief Fund for our local VFW Post 3911, and it made for a memorable
Memorial Day weekend.
