January 2021 Wrecker's Cup Race Results & Photos
The first race of the much anticipated 37th Annual Schooner Wharf
Wrecker’s Cup Race was held last Sunday, January 31st. A fleet of over
40’ vessels were challenged with 15 knot winds blowing out of the
south in 1-3 foot seas and white caps at Sand Key Reef. The popular
maritime event offers three more races in the 2021 series on the last
Sunday of February, March and April. For more information, visit

March 2021 Wrecker's Cup Race Results & Photos
The third leg of the Schooner Wharf Wrecker’s Cup Race was
held on Sunday, March 28th, filling the Key West Harbor and
surrounding waters with billowing sails. On the way out the
regatta experienced a full moon falling tide, increasing speed for
racers. The wind was out of the southeast blowing 11 knots and
gusting 12-14 knots in two foot seas. The sea was an ever changing
palate of tropical blue greens under sunny skies. Leaping dolphins
and sea turtles also joined in the fun! To join the fleet for the

April 2021 Wrecker's Cup Race Results & Photos
The last race of the popular Schooner Wharf Wrecker’s Cup Race
Series was held on Sunday, April 25th. There was a strong out
going low tide at race start with winds blowing 8-9 knots. The
regatta enjoyed sunny skies, picturesque blue water with sightings
of dolphins and frigate birds. Fair winds, full holds and
following seas till the 2022 Annual Schooner Wharf Wrecker’s Cup
Race.

Race |
There was a three way tie for first place in the 2021 Schooner
Wharf Wrecker's Cup Race Series. The winner was determined by the
fastest time by a vessel in of all four races.
Multihull Class - Hobie Cat Fred with Captain Ben Hermelin 33:48
Classic - Herreshoff with Captain Wayne Fox 45:44
Monohull 29' & Under - J-70 with Captain Todd Stuart 47:20
